Symptoms
"Could not load file or assembly 'CSWinWF-7aafd60efa50447cb7edf81d8f9a89a3, Version=0.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. This assembly is built by a runtime newer than the currently loaded runtime and cannot be loaded." We are using Vs2010 and VS2012 to make the samples.

Which "Target Framework Version" was this K2 project built and deployed against?
In Visual Studio, right click on the K2 solution andgt Properties for this information.
The K2 Project will need to be built against the same .NET version or an earlier version of .NET as the K2 Server.
If you wish to build the K2 Project against a later version of .NET, you may need to configure the K2 Blackpearl Server to support that version as per:

Resolution
The .NET Framework Version of the K2 Project was changed to be compatible with the K2 Server.
