I am fooling around with SharePoint Workflow Integrated client events and in several cases when the activity is completed, the task in the Task list is "sometimes" as completed and other times it is not. 

When I look at the history of the workflow in SharePoint sometimes I see "Task has been completed by K2 BlackPearl Server." but most of the time it is not there and the task is not marked as completed. 

This is really strange.  Anyone run into this?
