Tab sequence in Nintex form

I have a nintex form that the cursor does not go to the next field when typing text, then hitting the tab key.  Instead, the cursor goes to a field after the one it should.  Do you know of a way to set the tab sequence order in a Nintex form?  I did read this javascript solution:  http://www.slfiene.com/blog/2015/10/5/tab-indexing-in-nintex-forms, but wonder if there is a better way.
