Symptoms
I have processes that need to use an IPC event to trigger another process. I have configured the IPC Event in both processes and configured them to call the process synchronously. However, the called process never starts.

Resolution
Granting the K2 Service account Start right on the child process being called in the IPC event resolved the issue.
