I am building a nintex workflow state machine and I have noticed that it can takes 3-5 minutes for it to the change state. The workflow completes successfully but is there anyway to speed the change state?

Hi David,

the delay is expected.  It is called Safe Looping.

It is enabled by default in Central Admin > Nintex Workflow Management > Global Settings.

The reason, it to minimize the impact of infinite loops in Nintex Workflow designs.  It adds a hidden delay in the Loop action and the Change State action.
