This is the first time I have run across this issue, and my searches have not turned up any possible solutions.
Environment:
SharePoint 2016 (May 2019 Patches)
2 WFE'S
2 APP
2 Search
The error occurs when deploying Nintex 2016 Enterprise (latest version), on only occurs on one of the WFE's, all of the other servers deploy properly.
Solution Name: nintexworkflow2016core.wsp
Error:
The Execute method of job definition "SPSolutionDeploymentJobDefinition" (id "cae305f0-2070-4b07-a512-471cadf17dc2") threw an exception. I/O error occurred.
