SMTP alias connection string
Diagnoses
When having installed K2 for the first time, you set the SMTP to your Company’s default email address. However you then realize that it doesn’t point to the correct email address and would like to change this.
Is this possible?
Resolution
This can be done by updating the email address within the connection string editor, this can be located within the following directory:
Program files (x86) >>> K2 Blackpearl >>> Host Server >>> Bin
Furthermore all processes that use the old SMTP connection will have to be redeployed as it will still point to the old email address, so it would be a good idea to check all processes that have this.
Also please do check the environment string table in workspace:
Workflow > Processes > Process > String Table
