Smart Object after clicking required to not required is not working

Team,

 

I've create Emploiyee Name column required in my smart object and design the view and form.

 

After that I marked not required Employee Name column from Smart Object but in form and view still its asking validation as required.

 

Please advice.

    Are there perhaps validation rules configured on the form?

    Hi,


    Pleas check if in rule designer configuration  you have made Employee Name field as required. Check rule designer for both form and view, in case required filed is selected for this column unselect it.
