Symptoms

We are seeing slow responses on async IPC responses.
 

Diagnoses

Slow returning of IPC processes can be caused by a couple of things.
- Threads that are depleted
- DB fragmentation
- The K2Server or SQL server is under strain.
 

Resolution

We can play around with the thread pool settings.

We ended up tweaking the IPC settings as per the above articles. Please note that increasing the thread count will add extra strain to the K2Server. This should be monitored and adjusted accordingly.
