Hi,

I have  a customer that wants to add sharepoint integration to their k2 environment (on a seperate server), but they have all sharepoint applications using NTLM authentication. They don't get them running under Kerberos.
My customer wants to know if there is any way to get the sharepoint integration to run without using Kerberos authentication on their sharepoint appliactions.

imho it can not, but just to be sure. Any ideas are welcome.

I replied to somebody on this earlier so I am just going to copy my reply here.

To avoid Kerberos, you need all the components except SQL to be on the same server so that there is no double hop authentication.  Note that this also only works when K2 is installed in Stand Alone configuration.  If you install it in Farm mode, Kerberos is required.  Due to this reason, cluster setups always need kerberos to be configured.

So if you have a MOSS server, you need to install all the K2 components (except the databases) on the WFE in standalone mode.  SQL Reporting Services will also have to be install on the same box if you want the reports to function without kerberos.

Hope this helps.
