Symptoms

Unable to see APP catalog even though it exists, also cannot see APP domains even though it is set
Unable to install K2 app on SharePoint farm.

All K2 components has been completely uninstalled from the SharePoint server, and reinstalled.
 

Diagnoses

When running the K2 Install on the SharePoint farm they get the following error:
(no SharePoint web applications with application catalogs could be found for this server.)

This happens in the step in the installation media where you specify a k2 URL.

 

Resolution

Where the resolution was to install K2 for SharePoint on the K2 server and not the SharePoint server and then to install the app deployment on the SharePoint server, we also had to provide the user profile service account SPShellAmdin privileges for the farm and content database. We added the K2 for SharePoint registration url's to the trusted sites.
