I have a SharePoint list that is in serious need of purging their Nintex Worfklow History list.It has over 200K items within the list. it gives error while running the workflow report.
I tried the purging from the workflow history UI (used the option : Last activity is before: removes history list items for workflows that have had no activity since a specific date.) but nothing works.
Any idea how to delete a certain range of items from the list?

You might want to try the NWAdmin tool next.
If that does not work you can try using PowerShell.
If you are still having issues you may want to check with Microsoft as this history list is actually a SharePoint history list labeled as Nintex History.
