SHA1 to SHA2 certificates
Diagnoses
Issue:
Customer requires information regarding the a concern about K2 components which are signed with the SHA1 certificate which might be affected by the MS change to SHA2 certificates in early 2017.
Resolution
Resolution:
This issue was investigated and we found that there is no need for concern as the Code Siging Certificates will remain unaffected as per the SHA-1 deprecation documentation: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/32288.windows-enforcement-of-sha1-certificates.aspx.
