Symptoms

Dear Support,

We have just upgraded K2 version to the latest 4.6.11. It updated successfully, however, when we try to do update service instance from smart object tester utility or K2 workspace for a database that contains many objects, it is giving time out error. I followed below article

http://help.k2.com/kb001204

and I put the value of command timeout as 300000 but still I am getting this error. Please help.

Diagnoses

The time out value in the sql service instance was increased which resolved the issue.

the problem is not in permissions the problem is in the number of the objects in the Database that need to be identified by K2 as smartobject. The more the objects we have the more time it needs to identify the objects.

How many DB tables, sps and views are there in the DB?
