Symptoms

Issue:
Several months ago I noticed that the SChostServerCert certificate stored within MS SQL (K2 database) has an end date of 2017-01-01, which is becoming closer.

After installing K2 black pearl 4.7, I've noticed that this end date hasn't changed yet.

When do you expect an update for extending this certification and also for older releases.

Diagnoses

Diagnosis:
We mentioned to the client that the expiry date has no effect on the data in the db, nor will the key stop working.

So this also means you can log a new ticket for us in case you run into further issues regarding the SCHostServerCert but at this point it means you should not worry about the expiration date

Resolution

Resolution:
When the SCHostServerCert Expiration date 2017-01-01 is reached the tokencertificate will automatically re-new it self.
