Symptoms

Salesforce service instance documentation is not working for Windows 2012 server. Hence, K2 running on 2012 Servers will be able to get this work.
 

Diagnoses

To work around the issue I use the MS Windows SDK for Windows 7 which can be downloaded here:

Resolution

Our labs has logged a TFS Item: SalesForce Documentation not working for Windows 2012 - .NET 2.0 SDK will not work.
