As many of you know, Frank Field, our fearless community manager would like to make granting users access to specific spaces a lot easier. Here is his request:
Build a form that can capture the following details and time yourself on how fast you can do this.
- Name
- Date
- Phone
- Location/Country
- Interest - forms, workflow, mobile, analytics, other
- Member Type - customer, partner, employee, other
Should you accept this challenge there are a few things to consider:
- Navigate to your site in Office 365 - this has been emailed to you
- Create a list and call it something so you know it is the Pixel Perfect Form for Frank :-)
- Build the form first using Pixel Perfect. Time yourself and jot down any pain points you encounter
- Create a new list and call it something so you know it is the Responsive Form for Frank :-)
- Build the form using the new responsive forms feature. Time yourself and jot down any pain points or bonus things you've noticed.
- Once you've done both of those, come back to this post and respond with the time it took and any notes or feedback. If you have a suggestion, click here to create a new idea, or start a new discussion if you feel it merits that.
You are not required to build a workflow as this is a forms beta. Though I'd share that for anyone who gets eager to solve a problem, like I do sometimes.
Everyone should attempt this challenge, it's quick, fun and gets you across the new design experience easily.
