Symptoms

I have renamed my activities in K2 Studio and deployed subsequent versions of my workflows. My changes are reflected EXCEPT for the fact that i have actually renamed my activities. The old names still appear within the View Flow.
 

Diagnoses

- Just renaming the activities only updates the Display Name - 4.7 decouples System Name from Display Name, and View Flow shows the System Name of the activities, not Display Name
 

Resolution

To change the system name,

1. Right-click on your activity, select 'Edit' on the Name field, and change it.

2. Deploy your workflow

3. Check if new process instances show the new activity name. In addition, this has been logged as a bug due to the discrepancy between K2 Studio/Visual Studio and View Flow. View Flow is showing the activity's System Name, but K2 Studio/Visual Studio is showing the Display Name.
