I am just about to install a production K2 system, inorder to test the production processes and the system works fine I need to perform a number of tests. Obviously this will create active and historical data within the K2 databases. My question is if I want to restore the K2 production system back to a state that is was after a clean install what is the best way of doing this. From what I understand I have 2 options;

1) Run the K2 and K2log clear down stored procedures, but I believe this is unsupoorted on a production system

2) Take a DB backup of the K2 databases after the install and restore them back once I have finished testing, then reimport processes and security, etc - Will this way be supported and does it accomplish what I require? Are there any additional activities required?
