Plan just once and Serial Numbers

I have noticed that whith an Activity which is configured to be planned just once, all the events within that Activity get the same serial number.
So, if there are 2 server events before a client event,  they will all have a Serial number of 34_11, for example.


Is this the way it is intended?

    Yes, it is my understanding that this is by design.

    If you use "Plan Just Once", it would mean that there is only one activity instance created.  As the serial number is based on Process Instance ID and Activity Instance ID, any events instance within the activity would get the same serial number.
