Symptoms
Issue:
The client experienced an issue where a pdf that was saved blank using convert pdf smart object.
Diagnoses
Diagnosis:
We tested the convert to pdf smart object via the smart object tester tool and found that the smart object can only save a pdf file with content when the service account has authenticated on k2 and opened a smart form.
Resolution
Resolution:
We advised the client for this solution to work they will need to setup a separate runtime URL for the smart object to use as anonymous logon. We then provided the client with a kb article that explains how this can be achieved.
