I am a novice Nintex user. I have created a workflow which pauses for 1 minute. However, it is now stopping at this action and has done so for over 3 hours. I have looked up resolutions on the net but they all included complex code. Is there a simple solution to get the workflow running again?

You might need to work with your SharePoint Admin to get this fixed. The pause time depends of SharePoint/Workflow Timer Job. Did you have a look at: Workflows not continuing - Timer Service and Delays

I found that the reason, it was stopping was because the Workflow History has a limit of 5000 entries and when it gets above this it stops the action from proceeding. We had over 10000 entries in the Workflow History list and as soon as I got rid of some of them, the workflow commenced
