Symptoms

When creating package using Package and Deployment tool with processes that contain CreateReference and ForEach events, we receiving an error:

'%PROSESS_NAME%' Process is referencing the return type '{kdselectedmethodtype}' of the 'GetListItems' method on the '%SHAREPOINT_LIST%' SmartObject that could not be found.

See screenshot attached. This seems to be a known issue (see ticket 104466).
 

Diagnoses

This is known issue in K2 4.6.11 caused by validation error on Process for returntype on GetDocumentsMetadata method - Create Reference Wizard {kdselectedmethodtype}.
 

Resolution

Contact K2 Support to request coldfix for this issue (internal ID: TFS 592365). Note that you will have to recreate the wizard after you apply this coldfix as you will not be able to package the original wizard.

As a workaround you may consider edit workflow manually in notepad to resolve this error
