Notification both in Email and IM

These start events are not currently supported in Nintex Workflow Cloud.  We are considering support for an email based start event but it's only a roadmap item at this time. Can you provide a use case for each from your perspective to help us better understand how you would use these features?

I'm afraid there is a miss understanding, the actual scenario was to trigger the notification from nintex on-premise workflow action (Send Notification and Flexi-task) through email and OCS/Lync. Currently the notification options available as either email or OCS or User Preference. We had a situation where we need to trigger the notifications from these actions both by email and OCS/Lync, is this doable?
