Symptoms


Task notifications had recently stopped working and the following error is logged:

"602327415","2017-03-15 01:50:26","Error","MessageBus","61012","ConnectionError","ExchangeWebServicesOrigin","61012 Exception from message source k2smartactions@denallix.com: Microsoft.Exchange.WebServices.Data.AutodiscoverLocalException: The Autodiscover service couldn't be located.
 

Diagnoses


It was determined to be an issue with the Exchange trusted Certificates resulting in the Autodiscover service not functioning.
 

Resolution

The outlook.office365.com Cert from Microsoft was updated and added to the appropriate intermediate and trusted root to resolve the Autodiscover issue to allow for sending of the task notification emails.
