We have 2 WFE, 1 App and 1 DB server SharePoint Farm Architecture.
At the time of installation we had 1 WEF and 1 APP server and later we added another 1 WFE after Nintex installation. Hence we found workflow schedule job and workflow service were running on WFE and App servers. We managed to stop service on App server but noticed timer job scheduler is running on 1 front end server only. Can you please suggest any workaround/solution on this? Thanks

The timer services has to run on the App as well as WFE server, so that shouldn't be the issue. Does your Nintex license cover both your Web front end server? You can see this by loging into the Central Admin --> Nintex --> Licensing. Both webfront end servers should be mentioned in your license and not the app server.

+1Thanks Francois for your reply. Yes we have Nintex licence for both WFE servers. But workflow task scheduler is running on one WFE server only. I think this would be problem for long run.
