Hello,
Since three days we have exactly the same problem on two different SharePoint 2016 Farms that are joined in the same domain. One of them is used as a production and the other farm is used as a test system.
Both of these windows-services won't start anymore:
•Nintex Connector Workflow Queue Service
•Nintex Workflow Start Service
With the information in the Event-Log I wasn't able to find out more details. But it seems that one of the services need access to the SharePoint Config Database. So in my understandig, there is maybe a problem with the permission beacause both Services are running under the Local System.
Windows Event-Log entries:
SQL database login for 'SP16_T_Config' on instance '******' failed. Additional error information from SQL Server is included below.
Login failed for user '****SEVERNAME$'.
The Nintex Connector Workflow Queue Service service terminated with the following error:
Incorrect function.
Version: Nintex Forms for SharePoint 2016 - International (4.3.2.0)
Until now we don't have recognized any issue or impacts with the workflows. Does somebody knows this problem and have a solution?
