We are on to a older version of Nintex Workflow 2013 (3.2.2.10) with SQL server 2012 on to all our environments and trying to upgrade to the latest, but the release notes for Nintex Workflow 2013 points out SQL Database as SQL Server 2014.

Database version: 3.2.5.2
Release date: 3 March 2020
SP Service Pack/CU: November 2019
SQL Database: SQL Server 2014
To upgrade to the latest version is it mandatory to have SQL Server 2014 and what are the other prerequisites. Currently we are on "3.2.2.10" Product version for Nintex Workflow 2013.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
