Hi I wonder if someone can confirm the following: -

  • There should be 1 Nintex WF database per content database?
  • Is this a hard and fast rule?
  • If so why is this recommended?
  • What is the maximum number of Nintex WF databases alowed?

Thanks in advance!

Hi

•There should be 1 Nintex WF database per content database?
No

•Is this a hard and fast rule?
No

•If so why is this recommended?
Its called 1:1 mapping. It makes things easier when moving site collections around, migrating in steps, deleting site collections etc.

•What is the maximum number of Nintex WF databases alowed?
Recommended no more than 25 databases.
