Nintex SharePoint 2016 Error converting xlsx,png or jpg files to pdf

Hi,

i've a question for understanding.

We have a workflow with the nintex module "convert document".

The workflow works fine with word files, but not with xlsx, png or jpg files.

My question:

Is it true, that the SharePoint 2016 Onprem word automation services can't convert these files types? Need we for this files types a thridparty tool?

    Hi,

    Word Automation services is just an automated way of doing a "Save As" in Word.
    This means that you have to be able to open the file in word first.
    The file extentions mentioned cannot be opened in Word. They could be added as an image to a word document but not opened as an independant file.
