Nintex Forms UserProfileLookup for Person or Group Field

Hello,

 

In Nintex Forms, I would like to have a Person or Group field populated with the current user that is accessing the form.

 

I can create a Calculated Value field and get the account name to show up by using:

userProfileLookup(Current User,"AccountName")

Is there a way to copy over this informatino to the Person or Group field? Or have the Person or Group field pull in the account/name directly?

Hi,

 

if you want that in a New Form, you can simply change the default value of that user field in Nintex Forms to not use the default value of the sharepoint field but instead set it as current user..

To add on to what  @jackgelo is saying, here's a picture of it. As you can see, this is a people control with the default value set to Current User.

Here's the form as soon as I load it:

And by noting the Status square next to the name, you can verify that it is an actual person or group and not a text field:
