+1The form does not allow duplicate entries. So, on the form, there is an entry 2018 Milwaukee Digital, now I wanted to create 2019 Milwaukee Digital. But the form is not allowing me to proceed. It says the form already exists. I checked the list entries, there is no entry for 2019. Could that entry be hidden somewhere and I cannot see it but the form does?

is it a list or document library? If it's a document library, is it possible that someone has already uploaded a file with that property but he hasn't done the check-in so it's visible only to that person? You can check in library settings for file that don't have a checked-in version
In both case, are you sure that there isn't any other field that asks for unique values and your insert is failing due to this other field?

+8Yes, it is possible the item already exists and the list/column is set to not allow duplicates. Can you go into the list settings and determine if any of the columns are set to only allow unique values?
