do you mean to resize width of controls?

if so, then, afaik, 'resize at runtime' is only meant for vertical resizing (which doesn't seem to be your need)

automatic horizontal resizing for single controls you could achieve with some custom CSS, but to achieve some consistent appearance of several controls together might be a bit tricky.

I have a similar issue here.

But i only want the box to resize vertically.

The "resize at runtime" setting does not accomplish this for me.

Any other suggestions? 

I'm also having issues with auto-resize...

When viewed in 'Display' mode the boxes expand vertically, but when switching to 'Edit' mode they shrink back down to the original size. All controls on the form are set to "Resize at runtime".
