Afternoon
I've made a field mandatory in my list and added it to my form, but it won't let the user submit the form even if there's a value. I've tried changing the field type and adding a default value but nothing works. Any ideas?

Without seeing the form we can only guess the issue.
Based on the screen shot there is validation on the label and not on the Yes/No control so it will always invalidate no matter what.
