We have a size limit of 20 MB per mail internally in our company.

If I send an email with Nintex and it is larger than 20 MB, no error message arrives - unfortunately not at the recipient either.

Can you send the workflow initiator a filtering message that the mail is too large? Best regards Sebastian

Hi,

Would you not configure your exchange server to do this?

Hi,

in the action "send an mail" there is already a restriction in the comments, that only 20 MB are possible, see attachment.

Yes you are correct. Nintex had to make a choice here. Do we make the workflow error because the attachment is too large or do we not send the attachment and continue.

Naitive SharePoint send an email action does not allow for attachments so Nintex has developed this feature and the email runs externally to the tenant even if the recipient is a member of the tenant. As this is the case we had to set a limit for various reasons.

As SharePoint online does not send out error emails when a workflow fails Nintex decided to continue the workflow but not send the attachment. Yes in either case you do not get an error email but at least the workflow continues.

ok thanks for the information.

So is it not possible, for example, to inform the user by email that the email is too big for you? I can not include this in the workflow because it runs without errors?

Hi,

You could put a note on the form to advise the users.
