Listbox loaded from repeating section dynamically

I would like to know if anyone can help point me in the right direction. I'm trying to find a way to have a repeating group that has a number of fields that users can edit and add rows. On another "page" (panel), I want to show this same data but with other controls that will be connected to another column in the master list. Is there a way that the first repeating group changes can update the second repeating group common fields? For example. Lets say on the first repeating group there is course code and course title then a few other fields like hours credits etc. users have the ability to add/update/delete rows. On the second repeating group, the common fields are Course Code, and Course title. I want to make these read only and not allow the user to make changes here. There would be different fields in this repeating group not really related to the first, other than by course code. 

I might be over complicating things here, but my main issue is there are alot of fields in the second repeating group and I'm trying to split them up to show them better on the form
