Does uninstalling the K2 blackpearl on some machine and installing it on the same machine require a new license?

+1If the operating system is rebuilt and has a new system ID, you may well need to apply for a new license key. There will be no cost associated with this as long as you are installing the same license (e.g. 1000 user license) again.

i just changed the domain to which this computer belongs; do that have any effect?
What do you mean by System Id and from where do i get it?

The System ID will only change if you ReInstall your OS or if you run a Sysprep.
Your K2 Machine Key and License should stay the same as long as your Machine Name, K2 Installation Directory and Hardware did not change.
