Hi Guys,

As per checking with Nintex license documentation it is stated that Nintex for SharePoint is licensed per SharePoint WFE Server.

Currently we have purchased Nintex Workflow (Enterprise) and Nintex Workflow (Standard) perpetual license separately with SA on our SharePoint Server 2016 farm with 1 WFE.

Now we are planning add another SP WFE Server, do we need to purchase another Nintex Workflow (Enterprise) and Nintex Form (Standard) license or is it cover already under their Software Assurance and we can request to our Nintex Partner to just add the hostname of the additional WFE Server without purchasing additional license?

Thank you in advance,

Hi,
if you're adding a new WFE and you're on perpetual licenses, you should buy the additional licenses..Software Assurance covers development environments, not production ones..

Hi jackgelo,

Noted on this, but when we say buy additional licenses does this mean that we have to purchase another Nintex Workflow (Enterprise) and Nintex Forms (Standard) perpetual license for the additional WFE server? or is there any
other licenses for WFE that we have to purchase from Nintex aside from Nintex Workflow and Forms license?

Thank you,
