Symptoms

When attempting to deploy a process, it errors with:
'{processname} process Instances' SmartObject already exists. System Name: Rpt_{projectname_processname} Guid on Server:{GUID} Guid trying to be publish with:{differentGUID} Use the 'Synchronize' button in the 'SmartObject Associations Properties Wizard' of the Process Designer to resolve this conflict.

Resolution

When deploying a K2 process, it will also create Reporting SmartObjects for that process. The error seen indicates the Reporting SmartObjects. Please see the information below regarding the "Synchronize" option for Reporting SmartObjects and retry deploying:
