HI,

I am trying to evaluate whether we should install SQL 2008 or SQL 2012 and trying to find out how long will K2 support SQL 2008 for.

I find this statment abit vague.

"Since Microsoft SQL Server 2008 was available more than 12 months when K2 blackpearl 4.6 (4.12060.1.0) was released, 2008 will be supported and 2005 will not be supported for that K2 release. "

Can anyone comment on my below understanding?

As long as the K2 release supports the SQL 2008 it will support it
till end of Microsoft Support Cycle. Currently blackpearl 4.6.

However if we upgrade the blackpearl to a new major release and SQL
2012 is 1 year old prior to the new version it will cease support
for SQL 2008.

From my calculation any K2 major release after May 2013 will not
support SQL 2008.
