When accessing K2 Designer the user would receive the error prompt of
An error occurred while trying to authenticate the user.
Diagnoses
Forms authentication seems to have been the cause here.
Resolution
In IIS
1) Disable Anonymous and forms authentication
2) Enable Windows authentication
3) Do an IIS reset
