Symptoms

I don't understand the requirements to install K2 for Reporting services.
I get this popup message when I try to install it.
"The following requirements have not been met
Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services
or SQL Server 2008 R2 Reporting Services
or SQL Server 2012 R2 Reporting Services"
 

Diagnoses

The customer did not see the error after configuring SSRS on the SQL server, but ran into 401 error when configuring K2 for SSRS. We then proceed to configure permission for both Reporting Service App Pool account and K2 Service account per the following reference:

The K2 for SQL Reporting Services was installed successfully per the following doc
