Symptoms

Dear Expert,

I am not able to create a new package using "K2 Package and Deployment" it is giving following error:

System.Exception: 1058 SourceCode.Deployment.Runtime.DeploymentServer not hosted!
at SourceCode.Hosting.Client.BaseAPI.BaseAPIConnection.RemoteCall(String TypeName, String MethodName, Objectt] Parameters, Booleann] NullList, MarshalMessageType CallType)

at SourceCode.Deployment.Management.PackageDeploymentManager.ValidateUserRights()
at SourceCode.Management.SnapIns.K2Management.K2ServerFarm.CreatePackage()

 

Diagnoses

check the execution of the steps for the hotfix supplied

There were problems in running the Batch file for the hotfix. so we ran the visual studio command prompt then type "Start TheGACFile.bat
"
