K2 is not sending any emails
 

Diagnoses


When you have been having some issues with K2 and notifications being sent out. It seems the workflows are running however no emails are sent.

SMTP address has been configured to be correct, no authentication is required, but K2 is still advising that the system requires authentication.


 

Resolution

Performing a reconfigure on the K2 server and also it is possible that their could be two exchange connectors that have similar IP's, one for anonymous and for windows auth.

It is quite possible that it that it could be pointing to the wrong IP address, as there could be a host file pointing to the wrong IP address.
