K2 Installation fails at update features.
 

Diagnoses

The K2 Installation fails for a variety of reasons during the insulation during the update of the features in the K2 wizard. When the features are being deployed they go up to 20 or 30 percent before getting stuck.


 

Resolution

Remove-SPSite -Identity "http://accept.my.global.logica.com/personal/marimuthud"
which failed as it couldn't find the site in the content db but it is mentioned in the SP_Config sites table so they are removed from the content db and then reattached to it so it forces a cleanse of the orphaned sites.

After doing that you should be able to deploy the features just fine.
