Symptoms

 


We have a problem with synchronization permission group from SharePoint Online and K2 on-premise. Is necessary to have the global admin permission when I want to synchronize this group from SharePoint Online?
 

 

Diagnoses

 


If you do not run the registration wizard for the first time under an identity that has Site Collection Administration rights, the Registration wizard fails when uploading the K2 Appit for SharePoint App.

Resolution

The issue was resolved by redeploying K2 for SharePoint app to the APP catalog and then re-register the K2 for SharePoint application.
