Symptoms

I have noticed when trying to install the K2 for reporting services components on an SQL 2014 server, that a prerequisite error is shown preventing the installation of the components.

According to the blackpearl compatibility matrix we support SQL 2014 – no mention is made regarding reporting services, but I assume we should support it and this may just be a mistake with the setup, is this correct?

I have confirmed with Vernon from labs that this is a known issue with a fix available. Please could you provide us with the fix so that we can install / configure the reporting components.

Diagnoses

This is a known issue in 4.6.8 and a cold fix for that version was available
 

Resolution

Our labs department have created a 4.6.9 version of the 4.6.8 Coldfix and that resolved the issue
