Hello,

I have built a VM as a standalone configuration with the last Blackpearl release.

I installed all the prerequisites (windows server 2003 enterprise Sp2 fr, .net 3.0, ctp components, visual studio 2005 enterprise SP1, MOSS 2007 Enterprise SP1).

The installation process executed successfully.

So when I opened Visual studio and chose to create a new K2 workflow project, I received the following error message: The type initializer for '<Module>' threw an exception.

So Visual studio doesn't display the designer workspace and the toolbox was empty.

Can anyone encounter this type of problem, or a has a procedure to troubleshoot it?

Tanks,

Regards,

You can try re-running the configuration manager and ensure the account specified has sufficient privileges as stated in the K2 Documentation. You can also check if there were any errors in the installation and configuration logs. You can find them in the [BlackPearl installation folder]configurationlog.

If this doesn’t work re-install VS and then run the configuration manger for BlackPearl.
