Symptoms

When trying to execute the 'BAPI_EMPLOYEE_GETDATA' method with the 'DATE' and 'LASTNAME_M' input via the K2 connect Test Cockpit as per the steps described in the K2 documentation here: https://help.k2.com/onlinetraining/bp4/default.htm#Resources/Projects/K2connect/K2connectDemo.htm user gets the error below:

"Input string was not in a correct format."

Looks like this is a breaking change in BP 4.7 as Support was able to confirm the issue does not present itself in BP 4.6.11/K2 Connect 4.6.11.
 

Diagnoses

This is due to the way K2 connect handles SAP date format conversion.
 

Resolution

A new version of "K2 Connect for SAP 4.7.1 (4.10060.890.0) - Build 002" that addresses this issue is available for download on the K2 portal page.
The fix itself involves better handling for SAP date format conversion.
