K2 Connect and SAP Updates

I have been using K2 Connect for a little while now and I am having failry good success with the pulling of data from SAP.  I have the first situation where I need to make updates to SAP and I have struggled to piece everything together.  It appears that when I run through the Test Cockpit that the BAPI call I am using is successfully make the update, however it does not commit the update since it is required to call a COMMIT explicitly.  When I then chain the same BAPI call as in the Test Cockpit with a COMMIT I get nothing returned.  No errors, but no updates either.  Any suggestions on the best way to use the platform to diagnose where the issue could be.
